Apple has announced a major event scheduled for September 12th, where they will unveil their new devices. With just a few days left until the event, there is a lot of curiosity about which products will be introduced. Users often find themselves in search of a complete list. To help you with that, we have taken a general overview of the event and listed which products are expected to be unveiled and which ones have been delayed.
The devices to be introduced at the Apple event
iPhone
The most highly anticipated devices to be unveiled on September 12th are the iPhone 15 series. Apple is expected to introduce the new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones at the upcoming event. Due to the upcoming release of these new models, it is not currently recommended to purchase any iPhone model, as there is typically a price drop in older models when new iPhone models are released.
Mac
Any Mac device is not expected to be introduced at the upcoming event. However, next month, new M3 Macs, including the 13-inch MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and 24-inch iMac, may be released. In addition, in 2024, we can anticipate the launch of new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max processors.
iPad
While any iPad model is not expected to be introduced on September 12th, there is still a possibility. It’s possible that either at this event or in October, a new iPad mini could make its way onto the shelves. The OLED display 11-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, on the other hand, might be introduced at the beginning of 2024.
Apple Watch
When it comes to the Apple Watch, we don’t see a shortage like with Mac and iPad. Two Apple Watch models will be introduced this month: the Watch Series 9 and the Watch Ultra 2. While revolutionary innovations may not be expected, it is advisable to wait before buying a new Watch.
AirPods
When it comes to AirPods, rather than a new model, a new charging case for the 2nd generation AirPods Pro will be introduced. For the first time, this charging case will feature a USB-C port. In addition, the new AirPods Max model is expected to be released in late 2023 or 2024.
Apple TV and Home
In the TV and Home category created by Apple for your living room, there is no expected update on September 12th. However, new models for Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini devices are expected in 2024.
Accessories
While no movement is expected in Apple accessories at the upcoming event, it’s worth noting that surprises can happen in all categories we mentioned as ‘not expected.’ As of now, there have been no leaks or information.
